The Pacific Connection Highway 3 Concession project corresponds to the first wave of 4G infrastructure projects granted under the APP scheme by the National Infrastructure Agency ANI, with the aim of carrying out the improvement and construction of new roads on 146 kilometers along three departments: Caldas, Risaralda and Antioquia, with influence in 19 municipalities.
Municipalities of the department of Caldas: Manizales, Neira, La Merced, Anserma, Risaralda, San José, Viterbo, Belalcázar, Filadelfia, Marmato, Riosucio and Supía.
Municipios por el departamento de Risaralda: Balboa, Quinchía, Santuario y La Virginia.
Municipios por el departamento de Antioquia: La Pintada, Valparaíso y Caramanta.
This project made up of five (5) Functional Units - sections of road connecting the department of Antioquia and the Atlantic coast through Pacific 2; and Valle del Cauca and the Pacific, through the Valle del Cauca road network. It also aims to bring the Port of Buenaventura and the Caribbean closer to the production centers of Antioquia and the Coffee Axis, improving roads and connectivity, which will be reflected in cost, time and distance savings for travelers and transporters.
